AmazonSmile

Busy Bees is now registered with Amazon Smile.

What is AmazonSmile?

AmazonSmile is a website operated by Amazon that lets customers enjoy the same wide selection of products, low prices, and convenient shopping features as on amazon.co.uk. The difference is that when customers shop through the URL smile.amazon.co.uk, Amazon will donate 0.5% of the net purchase price (excluding VAT, returns and shipping fees) of eligible purchases to the charitable organisations selected by customers.

How does AmazonSmile work?

In order to browse or shop through AmazonSmile, you must first select Busy Bees as your preferred charity. Once you have chosen you can shop on the site as you normally would. Amazon will donate 0.5% of the net purchase price (excluding VAT, returns and shipping fees) of the customer’s eligible purchases. Only purchases made through smile.amazon.co.uk are eligible to generate donations.

Is there any cost to charitable organisations or to customers?

No. There is no cost to charitable organisations or to AmazonSmile customers. The shopping experience is identical to amazon.co.uk with the added benefit that Amazon will donate to the charitable organisations selected by customers.

Do you charge any administrative fees or take any deduction from the donation amount?

No. There is no charge to participate and we do not deduct any fees from the donation amount.
